國際色彩組織（International Color Consortium，ICC）由于1993成立。

其宗旨是創造推廣與鼓勵標準化和發展一套開放的、非廠商導向、跨平臺色彩管理系統。

ICC規范描述格式（Profile）提供跨平臺設備描述格式。

ICC規范正在被審核成為國際標準。

國際合作印刷流程整合組織（International Cooperation for Integration of Processes in Pre-press，Press & Post- press Organization，CIP4）是一個非營利與標準發展組 織，成立于2000/9，擁有301會員。

CIP4發展出一種以延伸性標示語言（XML）為基礎工作傳票稱為工作定義格式（Job Definition Format， JDF）。

JDF是提供印刷行業系統與各種應用之間簡單信息交換。是一種延伸性（XML）檔案格式提供點對點工作傳票規范，并結合訊息描述標準與訊息交換通訊標準。

JDF提供跨應用與系統間的串流信息交換與提供個別工作流程的解決方案，并允許不同廠商異質性產品的整合。
